clear No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I bought my fridge brand new in January 2021. Four months later the ice maker and freezer section stopped working properly. It will not make any ice or keep my food frozen. Now buying ice by the bag and consistently throw out my unfrozen food !Can not find service in Missouri because the type of refrigerant is not available in Missouri. I've called 8 times spending at least 10 hours on the phone. Still no resolution to my problem.

I bought this refrigerator last year and have been totally happy with it. It fits in the space nicely and offers lots more efficient storage space than a side-by-side refrigerator like we had.

I bought this refrigerator three years ago and already had issues with the compressor. I never had a problem with any other refrigerator. The older ones lasted longer before having any issues. I will stay away from LG from here on out!
