We've been using this hood for about 2 months. The fan on this hood provides great ventilation and keeps the heat and vapors moving away from the cooking area. It also, really helps keep the backsplash clear from the grease film. The 3 fan settings provide plenty of options, and the 2 light level settings provide great work space lighting. The only reason it doesn't get the 5 stars is fhe seam in the telescoping hood is upward facing and collects quite a bit of grease build up. Other than that its a great hood.
