Warehouse Operations Lead

Role Overview: As the Operations Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Distribution Center Operations Management Team in managing and optimizing our warehouse operations. You will assist with various administrative and operational tasks, ensuring effective coordination and execution of retail and distribution activities. This position requires strong computer literacy, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Distribution Center Operations Manager, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating warehouse records, including inventory levels, order tracking, and shipping/receiving documentation.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination of retail and distribution activities.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), and preparing reports to identify areas for improvement and track operational performance.
  • Support in the implementation of operational strategies and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Help maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment by following health and safety protocols and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to streamline workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for process optimization.
  • Assist with the training and onboarding of new operations team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Help in managing vendor relationships, including communication, coordination, and resolving any operational issues.
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations on best practices, industry trends, and technological advancements to improve warehouse operations.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience (1-2 years) in an administrative or operational support role, preferably in a retail or distribution environment.
  • Proficient in using office software, including MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
  • Familiarity with Netsuite or similar software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and external partners.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management is desirable.
  • Familiarity with home appliances or retail industry is a plus.

Pay:

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
