The continuous cast iron grates provide convenience by allowing cookware to be easily slid from one burner to another. With a range of burner outputs—including a 3,400 BTU burner, an 8,350 BTU burner, and two 4,350 BTU burners—this cooktop is designed to handle a variety of cooking needs, from sautéing to simmering. The sealed Sabaf® burners feature cast iron tops for enhanced durability and easy cleanup. The GC424BGL uses electronic spark ignition and comes preset for natural gas operation, with an included conversion kit for LP gas. Safety features such as push-to-turn knobs, sealed burners, and thermocouple flame failure protection ensure that gas will automatically shut off if the flame is extinguished.
