This refrigerator is an overpriced, complicated nuisance. So many bells and whistles, but crummy at accomplishing the basics. Ice dispenser is slow and lame. Configuration of freezer is strange and wastes space. Worst of all, the water filter compartment has no instructions whatsoever, and the instructions in the manual are incorrect - they tell you to rotate to get the filter out, but when you do rotate it, it jams and breaks the housing mechanism. We found several YouTube videos that showed us, after the fact, how we broke it. So, so tired of badly made, expensive appliances that have features nobody needs, but do not meet basic requirements.

I bought this a little over a month ago and I'm very happy with it. It's very stylish looking, inside is very roomy and bright. My only problem was the water sensor went out within a week. Still waiting for the part.

We appreciate the French doors that give easy access to the top part. The shelf positions help, too.We do think the unit is pretty noisy, but heard that mentioned by others. Still getting used to it.The black stainless finish is attractive, but we would rather have the old black finish that would match our other GE appliances.
