clear No, I would not recommend this to a friend
So far the bottom two drawers refuse to stay open. Service could not fix. Now ice maker makes only one glass of ice a day.

I bought almost 9 months ago. It has been working nicely. I connected the fridge to internet and I received an email after 8 months of usage stating that my fridge was not working properly. I did not realize until the email. Service was called to fix the problem. It was an easy process but now I my ice maker is not making ice. I hope it will be fixed soon. LG feature to notify you before to have major issues is a good one. Warranty works and fast to find technician to fix the problems. However, having problems even before the first year ends gives you a sour taste.

A month ago we purchased our LG French door refrigerator. We love the adjustable shelves, the two drawer freezer, and the wide storage in the doors. The indoor ice and cool water dispenser is nice, but there isn't much ice storage so we go through all the ice quickly. The smudge proof stainless steel is wonderdul, however the door handles show every touch.

I've had the fridge for about 3 weeks. Shelves in the refrigerator section well layed out. I like the two freezer drawers from an organization standpoint
