Problem with freezer door.

We really like the features on this refrigerator, but we have a terrible problem with the freeze door popping open. It's gotten so bad that we have to put our hand on the freezer door EVERY time we close the main door or the freezer gets left open. It has happened so often that the warning sound has diminished to barely audible . We contacted LG and their only response was to make sure the unit was level. We leveled it both ways when it was installed and check it again. the information from LG was NOT helpful.

We had one of our refrigerators fail. I happened to see two on the floor as I entered Costco. One had a large bottom freezer drawer and the other had a top freezer with ice maker. we decided that the top freezer with ice maker would best fit our needs. It happens that costco has a policy tat they cannot deliver these floor items nor will they hold them for later pickup. I found someone to haul it and I moved it into the house.I waited about an hour before I plugged it in and it started cooling immediately. It was cool in no time so we put our food back in it and it has been working great since. I have not hooked the ice maker up yet because of lack of time now. This is our third LG appliance. They all wok great.

High pitched noise and dent

This refrigerator has a very high pitched, high frequency noise when it is running and nothing will mask it. I try to block it out with a radio or fan but it is such a high frequency that I can still hear it. Also the side is dented.

Everything works very good and it is very quiet. The only thing We had issues with are the shelves. There is a 2 white plastic that runs on the edge of the shelves, it is weak and it broke in two places.
