Thought purchasing a genuine filter from GE would work hassle free but not the case. After installing this filter I noticed the water dispensed slowed down very much. Had to remove both O rings from male end on refrigerator to get water flow back to normal.

I bought this in hopes it would truly fit my GE fridge. We have bought several and none for although they are all ÒstandardÓ. We will not purchase and GE in the future. Very disappointed
