Just recently install our GE french door, counter depth refrigerator. Couldn't be happier with it. Lots of room for the two of us. Nice & quiet. The fiance loves the water in the door. feature. Looking forward to using it for many years.

I bought the refrigerator primarily because of limited space in my kitchen.An other brand I considered was less expensive, but the GE model is of higher quality in my opinion.

Best fridge we have ever owned. Everything fits beautifully and the fridge looks great in our new kitchen. Had an OOH and AAH party and had several positive comments and one, OMG I'm getting one just like it! We love it!

Rickety Freezer Otherwise Good

Our old built-in fridge was dead, so finding a replacement was a challenge but this looks great in the unique space we had and has been working great (had it 2-3 months now). I really appreciate that this is energy efficient, and I love the French doors which have tons of storage space! I love that the milk is easy access (I have two little kids) and stuff like butter or other staples are highly accessible. We do not have the automatic ice and water dispenser hooked up, so no comment on that. Many people have said that the fridge is too small, and we have had no problem as a family off four. It is a counter-depth fridge after all, and I think the size of this is standard and sufficient. I honestly like that food doesn't get lost in the back! The clear drawers make it so that you can see everything in your fridge! Admittedly, we do have a backup fridge in the basement for storing bulk buys & non-essentials like soda, or for those rare occasions (like the recent holidays) when you have more food than normal. We had to store our 26 pound turkey in the downstairs fridge, for example. This works for us. The only complaint we have is that the freezer drawers are a cheap, brittle plastic. They shake around when you open and shut the freezer, making he whole thing feel rickety. I also doubt if they will hold up long term (I could see them cracking). The surface also shows fingerprints horribly. Again, I have two little kids and keeping it looking clean is just impossible. As a whole, however, I am very happy with the appliance and having an energy-star certified working fridge after dealing with a 30 year old failing one for over a year has been great!

We bought this fridge when we remodeled our kitchen. We were limited by space so couldn't go larger, but I am very pleased with the space of this fridge. I especially love the ice maker (because mine was broken for years) and the interior water dispenser. The shelving is very flexible and works well for our needs. As noted in the owners manual, the fridge made a lot of funny noises when it was first installed. But now it is super quiet. And I appreciate the warnings when the doors are left open.
