We bought this electric refrigerator after 8 years of living off-the-grid with a propane 8 cu ft frig. We are so pleased with GE refrigerator. Perfect size, not too big or too small. Perfect for our family of 4.

We bought this model to replace our old 2-door GE with the freezer on top that we loved. It was still going strong after 21 yrs, but starting to show signs of wear. I love the design and special features of our new one, like the filtered water dispenser, ice maker and adjustable shelves. Plenty of room on top for all our needs. But I find the bottom freezer too small for us. Not enough room for frozen pizza, 2 half gallons of ice cream, or stocking up on frozen sale items. I will have to change the way I shop. Other than that, I feel it's a high quality, beautiful fridge and hope it will last as long as our old one!

First, one minor gripe. The ice maker overfills the container and a few cubes fall behind the door so when it is nearly full we have to shut it off. But other than that the machine keeps the temperature at what the digital read out says it is. The water filter is easy to deal with and handy to get at.Cold water out of the spigot tastes great! Meat drawer keeps meat much fresher than our old Samsung machine, as do the doors. We had trouble with the milk in the door going bad on our old one. This GE keeps it fresh much longer. Veggie bins are also very nice and accessible. Also a very nice feature is the lighting inside. When you open the door the lights start out a bit dim and then go to full brightness. Nice when you open the fridge at night! We have three thermometers to check the temp and they are right on. This is a good refrigerator and we would recommend it to anyone. Good job, GE.
