Our delivery and installation teams are diligently wearing protective equipment in the form of masks and gloves to ensure they minimize risk of transmission. We understand that many of our customers may be uncomfortable with our teams in their home, and are taking every precaution possible
Reducing Touchpoints
When possible our teams are reducing touchpoints in every interaction. Things like signing for delivery or exchanging paperwork are treated with extra caution or omitted where possible or upon customer request.
Social Distancing in Effect
Our team is strictly enforcing social distancing when installing in your home. Please be respectful of our teams and provide them a clear pathway in the home, and avoid crowding them in tight spaces. Delivery & Basic Hookup Service
Thank you for choosing Airport Appliance for your delivery needs. The morning of your scheduled delivery, you will receive a call with your four hour delivery window. You can also track your delivery status anytime on our delivery page.
For the safety of our employees and the protection of your new appliances, we require a clear path: outside should be free of ice and snow and inside should be free of rugs or other hazards.
Refrigerators
Requirements:
- Water Connection Kit must have shut off valve within 4ft of connection. We do not connect directly to PEX, Plastic or Copper Tubing. We do connect directly to copper if the shut off valve is located on the end of the tube within 4ft of connection.
- Shut off valve directly behind refrigerator is recommended. Services to install a shut off valve behind refrigerator are available upon request. If needed, notify your salesperson to properly schedule your delivery.
- 110V grounded, 3 prong electrical outlet.
- If you require a door-swing reversal, the option must be selected in cart before you submit your order. If you request to reverse the door after delivery, there will be a substantial fee.

- Verify your current electrical and water connections
- Unplug and empty out your old refrigerator
Electric Ranges
Requirements:
- New electrical cord (3 prong or 4 prong)
- 240V electric outlet within 4 ft. of the hookup site

To Prepare for Your Delivery:
- New electrical cord (3 prong or 4 prong)
- Verify the outlet type (must match the approved types shown above)
- Unplug and empty out your old range
Electric Dryers
Requirements:
- New electrical cord (3 prong or 4 prong)
- 240V electric outlet within 4 ft. of the hookup site
- If you want a door-swing reversal, the option must be selected in cart before you submit your order. If you request to reverse the door after delivery, there will be a substantial fee.

To Prepare for Your Delivery:
- Measure the delivery path and installation area to ensure fit for your new dryer
- Verify the outlet type (must match the approved types shown above)
- Unplug and empty out your old dryer
Washers
Requirements:
- New hoses
- 110V-grounded, 3-prong electrical outlet
- Corrosive-free hot & cold water valves within 6 ft. of the hookup site
- Ensure the water supply lines are metal or copper, not PVC

Delivery & Additional Hook-up Service
Additional hookup services are available for gas ranges, dryers, dishwashers, and over-the-range microwaves.
Dishwashers
Requirements:
- New dishwasher connection kit
- Water supply line (shutoff) and an electrical outlet within 6 ft. of the hookup site
- The rough cabinet opening must be at least 24" W X 24" D X 34–1/2" H
To Prepare for Your Delivery:
- Measure the rough cabinet installation opening
- Verify your current electrical and water connections
- Unplug and empty your old dishwasher
Gas Ranges
Requirements:
- New gas flex connection kit
- 110V-grounded, 3-prong electrical outlet
- Rigid, black gas line (no copper)
- Gas shutoff directly behind the appliance
- If you need an LP conversion, you must select the option in your cart prior to submitting your order. If you missed it, please contact us immediately at 510-342-7800.

- Measure the path of delivery and installation area to make sure the new range will fit perfectly.
- Verify your current electrical and gas connections
- Unplug and empty your old gas range
Gas Dryers
Requirements:
- New gas flex connection kit
- 110V-grounded, 3-prong electrical outlet
- Rigid, black gas line (no copper)
- Gas shutoff directly behind the appliance
- If you require an LP conversion, you must select the option in your cart prior to submitting your order. If you missed it, please contact us immediately at 510-342-7800.
- If you require a door swing reversal (usually from right hinge to left hinge), you must select the option in the cart prior to submitting your order. There is a substantial fee to reverse the door after delivery.

Over-the-Range Microwaves
Requirements:
- Hardwiring will not be done. A dedicated 110V electric outlet must be directly above the unit
- The bottom of the upper cabinet must be at least 30" from the cooking surface below

Delivery Day
Our team is dedicated in making sure your delivery process is completed in a timely manner: the more contact information we have, the better. Please provide a primary and secondary number along with an e-mail address. As your delivery date nears, you will be contacted at least twice.
48 HOUR CALL
You will be contacted 48 hours prior to your delivery date via a phone call and e-mail. You must confirm to stay on the delivery schedule.
DELIVERY TIME WINDOW COURTESY CALL
You will receive a call, text, and e-mail the day before your delivery date informing you of your 4-hour delivery window. You must confirm to stay on the delivery, CONFIRMATION MUST HAPPEN BY 12:00 MIDNIGHT TO STAY ON THE DELIVERY SCHEDULE.

Can my delivery team install using liquid propane hookups?
Yes; but you must have previously indicated the need for an LP conversion and paid the service fee.
Will the delivery team install a unitized (all-in-one) washer dryer?
Yes. Please be sure to measure the delivery path and installation area beforehand to ensure your new unitized washer and dryer will fit.
Will the delivery team install my front-load washer and dryer stacked to save space?
Yes; be sure to indicate you require stacking at the time of sale, and purchase the required stacking kit.
At delivery time, what if my new appliance is damaged or not working correctly?
We will test the operation of your new appliance prior to leaving your home. If you notice any damage or if the appliance is not working properly, our delivery team will connect you with our customer service department to find a resolution before we leave.
Easy Home Delivery and Installation
Whether you’re replacing a broken appliance or upgrading your entire kitchen, we handle everything from unboxing to setup for your new appliances to get you up and running again quickly.
Once your new appliances are installed and working properly, we also clean up after ourselves: removing all packing materials and restoring your home to its original condition.
