clear No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I got this coil range and the Sensi-Temp Technology which interferes with my cooking. The heat turns off during cooking which makes cooking time way longer and frustrating. The manual states that the pots may be to big. I have big pots and pans that extend over the range size and now I can't use them because it doesn't heat the properly. Extremely disappointed.

For the money you really canÕt go wrong itÕs uncomplicated you plug it into the wall and bam youÕre good to go. The one thing I did notice was the compartment on the bottom that you can store pots and pan could have been made more solid it has a flimsiness to it when you pull it half way out.

The stove heats food with a very uniform heat and our Thanksgiving turkey turned out great moist and a golden brown. The top burners also work amazingly well.
