We purchased this unit when an older GE microwave reached the end of itÕs life. It is less sophisticated than the previous model and I miss the menus that allowed me to cook specific foods by sensor. The lights and alarms are only coarsely adjustable. For example, the clock illuminates our kitchen at night when the other lights are off. I like how the end-of-cooking alarm is silenced when the door is opened. The interior is black so does not show spattered food, but is less obvious when it needs cleaning. Perhaps like all over-the-stove microwaves is it is hard to clean greasy joints and crevices.
