clear No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I bought this back in July 2018. After about 2 months it quit working so I called the store where I purchased it, took it down and service was sent out. They couldn't find any problems so I put it back up. About one month later it quit and again service came out and couldn't find anything wrong but said they would order parts and be back out after Thanksgiving holidays. After taking it down for the third time the mounting nut came out and I had to cut the head off the mounting bolt to get it down. Still haven't heard from service in regard to repairs. I ended up buying another unit as I could not wait forever.

I ordered what I thought was the exact same microwave oven as we had for nine years. In fact it is the same model number , but it is smaller inside. there is only one cooking area, not a second shelf and The selection pad has many fewer choices.

The microwave has buttons that seem impossible to push. The timer is not user friendly. I do not feel like it warms efficiently. I decided to upgrade my appliances when my dishwasher broke. I wish I would have kept my old microwave. Less than impressed.

I immediately noticed it is almost impossible to see the food cooking inside the oven. Have to open the door constantly to see how the food is cooking or if it's splattering inside the oven. The white screen in the door is no help. My prior door screen/window was black and showed the food perfectly. Due to this, not a microwave that I love or recommend.

I bought this when my GE Profile of 15 years decided to stop working. I wanted to stay with GE as I have been happy with the company. I am very happy with my decision. This model is simple and easy to use. It has plenty of features that I havenÕt even tried yet but know I will in the near future. I highly recommend this product and model.
