This microwave is large inside and the door closes quietly. My only complaint is that the clock is a very bright white light and is a different color than the clock on my oven. I use the built in timer when I'm baking in the oven. My favorite part is that the timer continues to beep until you press the timer off button. On my old microwave, the timer would beep once and if you weren't in the room to hear it, you wouldn't know the timer went off.
