I was taken by surprise when my old microwave (different brand) failed so close to Christmas. I had to buy a new microwave and have it installed. After research on the internet, I selected this model because it seemed to have all the features I wanted at a very competitive price. The install went very quickly and smoothly and I am most satisfied with the quality of the model and the install. Only time will tell if it holds up under years of service. Thanks for a well engineered and manufactured product.

Upgrade over my previous microwave

I chose this model because it is very similar to the 14 year old GE it will replace. That GE Microwave stopped working after long and steady service. This newer model has some upgrades and exactly fits the mounting hardware from before. That fact, along with my loyalty to GE products based upon proven service create loyal customers. Appliances today generally don't last as long as they did in the past, but 14 year's with out a glitcheck is impressive.

This replaces an old microwave that I had, the only thing I do not like about it is the buttons do not light up.

My previous GE Microwave had the door damaged by a child. I have had no problems with GE microwaves and this one installed easily, works great and has all the features that I use on a daily basis.
