We purchased this model because of the convection oven feature which we are still learning to use. While we like it, we do find it takes longer to heat up than anticipated. It's a toss up whether this is better than our oven for us.

I love my new GE convection microwave. ItÕs much more powerful than my old microwave and the slate color is very nice. I have several GE appliances, some of which IÕve owned for over 15 years. GE has been a reliable brand for me and that means less to worry about. I would recommend this microwave to others for sure.

The microwave feature is working great so far. I haven't tested the convection oven features yet. It doesn't have a baked potato button on keypad.
