Disappointed with function

clear No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Had major issues on install. Had to pay contractors to create the negative airflow vent needed for this hood, which meant cutting an 8 hole in my exterior wall and installing. Also had to have an extra piece of stainless steel fabricated to fill the gap that was made between the hood and the wall because the hood is 12 deep, but my upper cabinets are 14 deep. Also, the heat lamp points in the wrong direction - and is not adjustable.
