Delivery and Installation

Full Red Carpet Delivery Service (FULLDELSERV)       $ 79.95


Includes the following:

  • Delivery and hook-up of a maximum of three free standing units, in-home, to one delivery address at one time.
  • Unpacking, leveling and testing of units.
  • Removal of boxes and packaging materials.
  • Other services required such as installation of pedestals, stacking of laundry units (except Asko, Bosch & Miele), door reversal for refrigerator units, icemaker installations, door removal, or movement of old appliances within the home.

    The following SKUs are to be used as our way of informing the Delivery Team what is expected of them during the Full Red Carpet Delivery Service. That way, the Delivery Department will be able to determine how much time should be allotted per stop.


We require new hook-up parts to insure proper installation and safe operation of your new appliance. AIRPORT HOME APPLIANCE will not hook up any appliance using existing parts. Standard hook-up parts are:

* Removal of old products is available on a one for one replacement basis only, is limited to similar appliance type (no commercial grade), and will be done at the time of delivery only.


Note:    Under the Full Red Carpet Delivery Service, our Delivery Team will need and expect a clear and wide entry into your home and into the final location. They will not do anything that will put their safety at risk such as carry appliances over a fence, island, dirt pathway or stairs that are too narrow for the units to go through, etc. All electrical, plumbing and/or gas lines must be set in place, free of rust and in good working condition. In the event that any of these lines is not ready, our Delivery Team will not install the units and will just drop the merchandise in your garage. Should we be requested to come back and install the product on a later date, an additional fee equivalent to our regular delivery fee will have to be paid.


Drop Off Red Carpet Delivery Service (FSGARAGEDEL)     $ 39.95

Appliances (free-standing units) will be dropped at the curbside or in the garage only. The Delivery Team will unbox the units for inspection for any cosmetic damages. However, they will not be allowed to enter the home, assist with movement of product, hook-up units, or haul-away existing products.


Pro-Product Curbside Delivery/Drop Ship (PROGARAGEDEL)     $ 149.95

Professional, built-in and free standing appliances will be dropped at the curbside or in the garage only. The Delivery Team will unbox the units for inspection for any cosmetic damages. However, they will not be allowed to enter the home, assist with movement of product, hook-up units, or haul-away existing products. Garage should be flat and street level.


** Deliveries are limited to Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo/San Francisco and San Jose/Santa Clara Counties only. Deliveries to any other county are subject to additional out-of-town destination fees and require a Manager's approval.

Everything we sell at Airport Home Appliance comes with a full manufacturer’s warranty.

Return Policy

All returns and exchanges are subject to the following terms:


Non Returnable Merchandise

The following merchandise will be considered as final sales and are non returnable. These include but are not limited to the following:


  • Special Orders – merchandise that Airport Home Appliance does not carry in its standard inventory
  • Open Cartons and Installed Merchandise
  • Built-In Merchandise – dishwashers, warming drawers, built-in refrigeration, coffee makers, cooktops, wall ovens, built-in microwaves, ventilation
  • Trim Kits of any kind
  • Sinks, Faucets and Plumbing accessories


Unopened Cartons

All returns and exchanges of merchandise (other than those mentioned above) that have not been opened are subject to a restocking fee equal to 25% of the purchase price, plus freight charges.


Waiver of Fees

Airport Home Appliance will waive restocking fees on all returns and exchanges that, in OUR determination, are due to an error on our end, such as shipping the wrong merchandise or shipping damaged merchandise. The customer is responsible for inspecting the merchandise at time of delivery and reporting any damage to Airport Home Appliance within (48) hours 510-783-3494 and asking for the Manager-on-Duty (MOD).


Timeliness

Airport Home Appliance reserves the right to refuse to accept returns or to provide exchanges more than forty eight (48) hours after receipt of merchandise by the customer.


Refund Method

Refunds will be made in the same form as the original purchase. Purchases made by cash will be refunded in the form of a check within 10 business days of the return.

Price Changes: Prices of appliances are subject to change without prior notice.


Product Availability: Products are subject to manufacturer’s availability. Special orders/colors and new models have large fluctuations in availability.


Delivery/Installation: Additional delivery/installation charges may apply if site conditions are more complex than originally stated. All delivery hookup and Installation services are guaranteed for ninety (90) days.


Special Orders: Special order merchandise cannot be changed, canceled or returned once order is placed. 100% payment is required on all special orders.


Taxes: Prices are subject to all applicable local, state and/or excise taxes exacted at time of shipment.


Damaged Merchandise: The goods on this order should be delivered in good condition. All freight damaged merchandise MUST be reported within forty eight (48) hours of time of receipt of said units. Airport Home Appliance is not held liable for any damage or breakage occurring here after.
